I have grown up on the eastern side of Nebraska my whole life and have been fishing ever since I could grab a pole. Eastern Nebraska offers some great spots for fishing and offers a variety of species thanks to the Nebraska Game and Parks (NGPC) efforts in stocking and development. If your are looking for Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Northern Pike, Muskie, Sunfish, or any kind of Catfish you can find it here and in good numbers.
Why I created this website?
I started this Blog due to the number of people that enjoy the lakes here in the heartland like I do and have to rely on word of mouth in order to get fishing reports and lake updates. I want to help people find secret honey holes around the eastern part of Nebraska and focus of fishing reports and updates. I also will include other helpful links and articles such as topographical maps and stocking reports to assist people in choosing their next fishing destination. Also if any of my readers have any reports or updates from this region, please email me via the Contact Me menu and when I get reports I will post them for other readers to view.
There are a few other websites out there but seem to serve slightly different purposes. The NGPC website is great for anything related to outdoors, http://www.outdoornebraska.ne.gov/, and there is a blogging site that is great for asking questions of fisherman all throughout Nebraska, http://www.nefga.org/forum/.
Thank you for reading and Go Catch Um!
